MARK STOCKWELL
MANAGING DIRECTOR

After his retirement from competitive swimming in 1992, Mark joined the family business.  Since that time he has been the driving force behind the steady growth and commercial focus of Stockwell.

As Managing Director of Stockwell, Mark has seen the company diversify as an investor, developer, builder, project manager and property manager of industrial, retail, commercial, residential and leisure developments. 

He has been quick to identify opportunities in the retail market and Stockwell currently owns shopping centres throughout regional Queensland in Sarina, Bargara, Murgon, Mackay, Noosa, Tewantin, Ipswich and in Brisbane.

 

He is a Past President of the Property Council of Australia, Queensland Division and served on the National Board for 2 years.  His leadership of and input to the Property Council and review of a raft of planning legislation and Government policies relating to the property industry, has enhanced the profile of the Property Council with Government.

Mark is currently Chairman and a Trustee of the St Laurence's Old Boys' Foundation which funds educational scholarships for boys at St Laurence's College whose families could not otherwise afford their son's educational fees.

He is a Trustee of the Stockwell Foundation, founded by Mark and his wife Tracy to benefit children in need.

Mark chaired the Gold Coast’s successful Bid to host the 2018 Commonwealth Games. 

 
MIKE KELSO
DIRECTOR

Mike has been an owner and Director of Stockwell since 1992, and is instrumental in driving the company’s design and construction operations. 

Mike was previously Finance Director of ADCO, a major national construction company. 

Mike has a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Queensland. He is a Certified Practising Accountant and holds a Real Estate Licence.

 

 

 

PAUL NELSON
FINANCE DIRECTOR

Paul joined the Stockwell Group in March 2001 as the Management Accountant for the Accounting & Finance Department.

Since then Paul has been appointed as the Finance Director of the group and is responsible for the performance of the Accounting & Finance function. Paul also plays a critical role in the project feasibility and finance process and is responsible for strategic direction and structuring for the Stockwell Group.

Paul gained membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1996 and brings to the Stockwell Group over fifteen years experience in the Property Industry within Chartered Accounting, Publicly Listed and Private organisations.

 

SAM KROEGER
GENERAL MANAGER; Stockwell Property Management


Sam Joined Stockwell in 1995 as the Administration and Finance Manager. In this role he was responsible for the set up and continual operation of the financial and management systems of the company through a steady growth phase.
 
Sam is now the General Manager of the Property Management division. This includes leasing, lease administration and tenancy coordination and the day to day management of the retail, residential and commercial/industrial property assets within the Stockwell group and properties joint ventured with external parties.


Sam is also responsible to the board for ongoing strategic asset management of the properties.

 
Sam's previous experience includes 18 years in the finance sector and eight years with ADCO Constructions Pty Ltd in Sydney as Administration and Finance Manager NSW and Victoria
 
Sam's wealth of experience in both the finance and property sectors makes him an integral part of our senior management team.
