MARK STOCKWELL
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mark commenced his career as an elite swimmer representing Australia in the 1984 Olympics and 1986 Commonwealth Games. After Mark's retirement from swimming in 1992, he joined the family business (Stockwell) established by his parents Bill and Necia Stockwell.

In 1992 Mark became Managing Director of W.A. Stockwell Pty Ltd and since then has seen the company diversify as an investor, developer, builder and project manager to include industrial, retail, commercial, residential and leisure development.

Mark has been quick to identify opportunities in the retail market and Stockwell currently owns shopping centres throughout regional Queensland in Mackay, Sarina, Bargara, Murgon, Sunshine Coast, and in Brisbane.

Mark is a past President of the Queensland Division of the Property Council of Australia and served on the National Board for 2 years.

 
MIKE KELSO
DIRECTOR

Michael has been an owner and Director of Stockwell since 1992, and has been instrumental in driving the design and construction and leisure management businesses.

Prior to Stockwell, Michael was Finance Director of ADCO, a major national construction company.

From 1998 to 2001 Michael ran Stockwell's Leisure management arm working with Macquarie Bank to manage properties such as Dreamworld and the D'Albora Marinas. During this time Michael oversaw the introduction of rides such as The Giant Drop and the locating of the first Australian Big Brother television series.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Queensland. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant.

Michael holds a Real Estate Licence and is the principal licensee for Stockwell Property Management.

 

 

 

PAUL NELSON
FINANCE DIRECTOR

Paul joined the Stockwell Group in 2001 in the Accounting & Finance Department working primarily on compliance, systems setup and management reporting. Paul worked as a Chartered Accountant and became a member of the ICAA in 1998.

Paul is the CFO of the group, and is responsible for the performance of all Accounting & Finance functions. Paul is closely involved in each project and acquisition providing his expertise to areas including the preparation of project feasibilities, financing of development and investment opportunities and the ongoing reporting against budgets and key performance criteria.

Paul has a Bachelor of Business degree from the Queensland University of Technology and brings to the Stockwell Group over 18 years experience in the Property Industry within chartered accounting, publicly listed companies and private organisations.

 

 

SAM KROEGER
GENERAL MANAGER; Stockwell Property Management

Sam Joined Stockwell in 1995 as the Administration & Finance Manager. In this role he was responsible for the set up and operation of the financial and management systems for Stockwell.

Sam currently manages the Property Management division. This includes retail and commercial leasing, day-to-day management and strategic management of the property assets within the Stockwell Group and properties owned by external parties.

Sam's previous experience includes 18 years in the finance sector and eight years with ADCO Constructions Pty Ltd in Sydney as Administration & Finance Manager NSW and Victoria.

Sam's wealth of experience in both the finance and property sectors makes him an integral part of our senior management team. Sam has a Diploma of Business and Accounting.
