DA Submitted for Stones Corner Village Redevelopment

Stockwell has been synonymous with the growth and development of inner-city Brisbane suburbs like West End and Dutton Park for over two decades. True to Stockwell's commitment of delivering prosperity through smart property solutions, its latest Development Application supports the much-anticipated redevelopment of Stones Corner Village that will see a multi-use residential, retail and commercial address delivered.

Stones Corner, an urban village that rests less than five kilometres from Brisbane’s Central Business District, has been identified as a significant inner-city redevelopment area. Known for its village feel, heritage landmarks, diverse community, and specialty retailers, this retail and residential area holds a special place in the hearts and minds of many Brisbane residents.

A new generation will now experience the charm of Stones Corner as Stockwell submits its Development Application to redevelop Stones Corner Village that sits at the area’s heart and will be transformational to the suburb.

Stockwell has owned and managed Stones Corner Village at 405 Logan Road for over 15 years and proposes a new mixed-use precinct which will incorporate 209 apartments across two towers, atop a retained and well-visited ALDI supermarket and additional retail and commercial space.

Local practice, MK Architecture, has thoughtfully designed the project to breathe new life into the area with strong architecture and an activated street interface through the introduction of an arched colonnade facade creating a strong building identity and sense of place.

The ambition of the project is to bring renewal and vibrancy to Stones Corner.  Through transformational projects like this, Stockwell continues to honour its heritage and pave the way for community prosperity and growth.
