Planning the Perfect Noosa Christmas

Noosa Civic Shopping Centre

The festive season is a time to be with family and friends, celebrate with good food and drink, give and receive gifts, and look forward to the New Year. Noosa's beaches, national parks, lakes and rivers are perfect places to enjoy the great outdoors with family and friends.

Spend a Day at Noosa’s Beaches or National Parks

Noosa's beaches offer a range of activities, from swimming and surfing, to exploring the fairy pools and relaxing on the sand. You'll find the iconic Noosa Heads Main Beach dotted with umbrellas and Cool Cabanas, and it's the perfect place to take in the sunshine and set up for the day.

Noosa National Park is another excellent place to explore the outdoors. It features the spectacular coastal scenery of Noosa Headland and the surrounding Lake Weyba, Peregian and Coolum. With plenty of walking trails and lookout points as you venture through eucalypt forests, woodlands, melaleuca wetlands, and pockets of rainforest. It's a great spot for an afternoon with friends and family, with excellent facilities, including toilets, picnic and BBQ areas.

Christmas Shopping

Noosa Civic Shopping Centre has everything to make your Christmas a memorable one. Over 100 specialty stores join Woolworths and Big W so that you can get all your presents in one place. The gift-wrapping station makes life even easier, and you can have gifts wrapped in custom Christmas paper illustrated by local artist Cass Deller for a gold coin donation. In addition, Santa makes an appearance every day until Christmas Eve for photos with all the good children, including fur babies!

If you're looking for something unique, The Eumundi Markets are Australia's biggest and best artisan market. The Christmas Eve Markets are a great way to support local businesses this Christmas with festive entertainment, including live music and Acro Elves. You'll be able to find everything from jewelry to artwork and delicious food while you walk around the market.

Peregian Beach Carols

The 58th Annual Peregian Beach Carols will be happening on Wednesday the 21st from 3pm. This is an event you don't want to miss! Musicians, choirs and dancers will perform throughout the afternoon, while local food and artisan stalls will sell their unique products and Christmas goodies. In addition, there will be face painting for kids and a laser light show, plus Santa will pop by for some festive fun.

Christmas Day Dining

Noosa is home to some of the best restaurants in Australia. So why not skip cooking and catering this Christmas and head to one of Noosa's delicious restaurants? You'll find everything from fine dining to casual cafes serving various menus and cuisines.

Miss Moneypenny’s is located on beautiful Hastings Street in Noosa. Offering a stylish venue with a relaxed atmosphere and a focus on social dining with a diverse range of cocktails alongside globally influenced Modern Mediterranean cuisine.
