Stockwell Leasing Update
The first half of 2021 continues to see the impacts of Covid 19 but in Queensland we have been fortunate to see the continued stability in the primary retail market in which we operate: non-discretionary retail centres. Stockwell continues to mitigate key risks and focus on the success of our projects and centres we manage and have remained committed to keeping the economy moving.
Stockwell is excited to introduce our newest tenants to our retail centres during these different times and welcome the opportunity to take you through these.
Bargara Central, just outside the Bundaberg CBD, is anchored by Woolworths and Aldi and serves a population of over 17,000. Future development includes a tavern and a drive-thru bottle service. Currently, Pharmacy Alliance is expanding their existing space, with the DoctorLink medical practice opening soon, ready to serve the community with their family friendly health care. Bargara Central has also welcomed Unique Dance Studio, along with Golden Arrow News.
Anchored by Coles and Woolworths, Northern Beaches Central serves a trade area population of 117,000 in the Mackay Region. This is the area’s chief shopping centre, made even sweeter with the addition of Delicious and Sweet bakery and their cupcake and doughnut decorating classes! NuYou Aesthetics and Beauty are also opening their doors, ready to provide a wide variety of skin and beauty treatments. Watch for Gossip Nails and a barber coming soon.
Northern Beaches Central Showroom precinct is located in a prominent position, opposite Northern Beaches Central shopping centre, complementing the existing retail and commercial businesses in the area and offering great customer exposure. National tenants Mobil Fuel and Fitstop are already open for business, with City Cave’s state of the art float rooms opening later this year. Delicious dining options are coming soon, with fit-out already under way for Sushi Hyo, and a Burrito Bar drive thru. This precinct will also see a child care centre, the perfect addition with the centre’s proximity to local schools.
Flagstone Central is approaching its first birthday and is home to Woolworths and a range of specialty stores and commercial offices, offering a variety of amenities to the local trade population of 17,000. Add in 450 car parks and Splash Swim School and Flagstone is the perfect retail centre to meet the needs of the growing community. First Choice Chiro, Flagstone Physio, Assett Realty and Raising Flowers Florist are now open for business, along with Living Ink Tattoo, specialising in custom designs and cover ups. We are excited to welcome Prestige Dance, and Burrito Bar, all opening their doors later this year.
Located on the northern end of the Sunshine Coast, Noosa Civic sees approximately 3.3 million customer visits annually. Featuring Woolworths, Big W, and 63 specialty retailers, along with over 1400 car parks, it is the premier retail and service centre for the region. The newest tenants to the centre include Paperboxx as your local newsagent and gift shop, Live Life pharmacy, Noosa Health Store with a great range of health food products, and FS8, ready to remix your fitness! Noosa Civic is looking forward to the opening of Skulpt Face and Body opening later this year, with services ranging from body contouring to facial sculpting and skin treatments.
