We are excited to continue the evolution of Bargara Central with a further development of the centre. Stockwell has secured ALDI as the second supermarket and Woolworths will undergo an expansion and refurbishment.

New Commercial Tenants - Bargara Central

Two new tenants have opened upstairs at Bargara Central. Coral Coast Physiotherapy and Bargara Family Chiropractors have joined the medical centre, pathology and gym. 

Coral Coast Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic has moved into a brand, new Clinic upstairs at Bargara Central.  They offer a range specialised services including Physiotherapy, Sports Physiotherapy, Pilates, Exercise Physiology, Podiatry, Acupuncture/Dry Needling & Massage to the community.

Bargara Family Chiropractic has recently located to Bargara Central and is already ingraining itself as a valued service in the local community.

Habitat Construction Update - April

The construction of Buildings 1, 8 and the recreation area at Habitat has progressed during April with the following works completed and underway:

Building 1

  • Structure including roof is complete.
  • Level 1: Joinery and internal tiling is now complete. Internal painting complete. Carpet installation and external tiling to courtyards still to complete. 
  • Level 2: Joinery and internal tiling is now complete. External tiling to balconies, internal painting and carpet installation still to complete. 
  • Level 3: Joinery and internal tiling is now complete. External tiling to balconies, internal painting and carpet installation still to complete. 
  • Level 4: Joinery complete and internal tiling continues. External tiling to balconies, internal painting and carpet installation still to complete. 

Building 8

  • Structure including roof is complete.
  • Level 1: Units complete. External fencing to courtyards still to complete. 
  • Level 2: Units complete and the builder is currently undertaking unit defect inspection. 
  • Level 3: Units complete and the builder is currently undertaking unit defect inspection. 
  • Level 4: Units complete and the builder is currently undertaking unit defect inspection. 
  • Level 5: Units complete and the builder is currently undertaking unit defect inspection. 
  • Level 6: Units complete and the builder is currently undertaking unit defect inspection. 

Pool & Recreation Area

  • The structure of the recreational facility and managers unit is complete. 
  • Garden planter beds have been filled with soil. Landscaping to commence shortly. 
  • Pool decking is now complete. Tiling and render to recreational areas is continuing.

General Site Update

  • Structure installed for barbecue area & visitor entry.
  • Structure installed for green walls.
  • External fence being constructed.
  • Basement completed. Storage cages and line markings to car parks to be completed. 

Muse construction update - April 2016

Construction on Muse West End has well and truly started and we're loving watching the progress out the back window from Stockwell's head office. 

Early development works are well underway with all pile driving works now complete. The site is now action packed daily with the Pile Capping and Bulk Earthworks also almost completed.

During May RGD Constructions will commence the installation of all infrastructure and services under the basement slab and the construction of the basement block walls.

Welcome to the latest edition of the Habitat construction update. The construction of Buildings 1, 8 and the recreation area at Habitat has progressed during January with the following works completed and underway:

Building 1

  • Structure is complete.
  • Roofing is installed.
  • Level 1: The joinery and tiling has been completed and the electrical and plumbing well underway.
  • Level 2: The internal tiling, electrical and plumbing works are almost complete and the joinery has been completed.
  • Level 3: The plaster sheeting is nearly done. The glazing has been installed and tiling inside the units is underway.
  • Level 4: The plaster sheeting is almost complete.

Building 8

  • Structure is complete.
  • Levels 1 & 2: Both levels are almost complete. Carpet will be installed soon and then a final clean will be done.
  • Level 3: Internal electrical, mechanical and plumbing works are almost complete.
  • Level 4: The joinery, bench tops and appliances have all been installed. All tiling inside the units has been completed.
  • Level 5: The joinery, tiling, bench tops are all complete. Appliances have been installed. 
  • Level 6: The tiling and joinery have been completed. Appliances have been installed.

Pool & Recreation Area

  • The block work to external gardens, recreation room, gym and managers's unit is complete.
  • Wall framing and mid floor frame and sheeting is complete to recreation room and gym.
  • Pool structure and shell are complete.

Scaffolding & crane will be taken down soon! 

  •  Scaffold drop has commenced and is continuing.
  • Crane to be taken down on 26th February 2016

Virtuoso Sales Display - Twilight Viewings

Happy New Year and welcome to the latest edition of the Habitat construction update.

The construction of Buildings 1, 8 and the recreation area at Habitat has progressed during December and January with the following works completed and underway:

Building 1

  • All floor slabs and block work is complete
  • Roofing is installed.
  • Level 1: The plaster is complete and the joinery and glazing have both been installed.
  • Levels 1 & 2: the plaster and glazing are also complete. The internal tiling is underway and external tiling is complete. The joinery is fifty percent completed.
  • Level 3: the plasterboard is nearing completion.
  • Level 4: the partition walls are complete and the internal framing is fifty percent complete. The installation of services are also underway.

Building 8

  • All floor slabs are complete.

  • Structural roof and roof sheeting is complete.

  • Levels 1, 2 and 3: almost complete. The final coat of paint will be done and appliances will be installed. Carpet will be installed in the next few weeks.
  • Level 4: the joinery and bench tops have been installed and the tiling has been completed. The plumbing install is well under-way.
  • Level 5: the joinery and bench tops and tiling are underway on Level 5. The external patio tiling is almost complete.
  • Level 6: the glazing has been installed  and the plastering and outdoor tiling is complete.

Pool & Recreation Area

  • The block work to external gardens, recreation room, gym and managers's unit is almost complete.
  • Pool Structure and shell are complete.
  • The Managers unit and structural are underway.

Basement

  • Fire service installation and mechanical ventilation is complete.

Morgans Seafood has opened at Northern Beaches Central in Mackay in time for the busy Christmas period. This is owner Kelly Morgan's third seafood store and she has hit the ground running ready to supply the Northern Beaches community with quality fresh and cooked seafood.

Curry Hut Opens at Bargara Central

A new tenant has joined Bargara Central Shopping Centre and is already a hit with the locals.  The Curry Hut opened in October in approximately 60m2 near the Woolworths. Sarab and his family relocated to Bargara to open the restaurant after working in a Brisbane Indian restaurant. 

The reviews from the local community have been overwhelmingly positive and their passion is evident in the delicious food.
